We got him. We plucked JechwI' fromthe clenched fist of our enemies. I should feel jubulant, yet something he told me before he left has chilled me. He hinted of friction within house Matlh, of alliances tested and divided. I have been to the Halkarim System, as he suggested and what I saw there was unsettling. I have no time to investigate this further myself, but I have paid a Yiridian to find out more for me. These mercenary information merchants have their uses.

Now we will return to DS15 for a Party the humans are holding and a general meeting for all the heads of the different ships in the Task Force. I cannot abide meetings. It is made all the more intollerable because we must play host to a Federation dignitary, one Vloc Cann during the journey. Still it may be a good oportunity to cement trade opportunities.

I fear teh Federation does not know what to do with us in their task force. We seem to spend most of our time ferrying passengers.
