Timeline   1.8 hours till nightfall
The suited trio had been moving slowly along the ground level for a few minutes. The place was strange in that everything was left hanging as it had been thousands of years ago. It was as if at any moment a hand would reach to pick up the coffee cup it had just dropped or step throught he door that was half open.

The corridors were well lit and ventilated, but the suits had auxilary systems including mounted shoulder lights and HUD tactical displays covering IR and UV spectrum.

Glancing to Hichop and Tell with a nod Leah turned to head down a corridor to the left. After pausing a moment to smack the headlight display to stop a odd flicker Leah took a glance into a few cells where the blast doors had already been cracked open and whatever might have been there lost.

The hollow clicking of metal on metal footsteps seemed to echoe through the space as Leah reached another blast door. The outside had been scarred but a thee centimeter part in the doorway was eminating a strange pulsing green glow and the whistling rush of pressurized air.

Leah reached testing the metalic gauntlet of her armor and clasped the edge of the blast door. With a terrible screech she was able to open the entrance gap slightly more before she felt a violent shudder. Within seconds Leah found herself flying back across the corridor and slamming hard into the opposing wall. Thick vaporized air started filling the corridor, billowing out along both directions.

Tell raced to her side hoping that Leah hadn't hurt herself.
"Leah are you alright?" and began to help the Quartermaster to her feet.

Waving the robotic arm in front of her face to clean the vapor Leah nodded and accepted the help to get back up.
"I'm fine, just lost a bit of pride at most. Looks like just a coolant vent. Suppose we should watch for these things since this place might just fall down around us with a wrong step."

Leah glanced around keeping in contact with Tell and back to Hichop as they made their way blindly for a bit, vanashing into the vapor cloud.

Hichop heard the sound and saw Leah flying in the suits screen. it was as if it had been put in front of him as important. Like the suit was interested in gaining the wearer attention to issues around him. How this would have worked in real life battle he wasn't too sure. Still he could see Tell rush to Leah's side and given the structure of the suits he imagined Leah to be unharmed. Hichop moved on in the corridor he was in and found more clothes just abandoned. He wondered what could cause life to become nothing in what seemed to be an instant. Everything looked like it was just left mid battle. Even the ships were were facing the battle and not looking to get away. But if it was a weapon then it was a fairly dumb one. It left the entire planet dead. Who wins when no life can survive?

There was a soft whirr of hydraulics and HIchop glanced up to see a pair of double barreled mounted machine guns unfolding from the roof. HIchop grabbed for his Disruptor, but it was sealed with him inside the suit he tried to bring the heavier solid bore weapon the suit held to bear but found two surprising things.

First the auto sentries were not targeting him. Instead they were sweeping the corridor in a series of slow moves as if tracking for targets but simply not seeing the trio.

Secondly when he tried to bring his weapon to target the guns a small cross hair on the Hud would swing up to show where he was aiming, however, as soon as the cross hairs met the auto sentry it changed colour to green and the trigger locked open under his finger so he could not fire.

Not being able to aim at the auto centries, Hichop wondered what else he couldn't shoot. Turning to Tell and Leah he tried to lock weapons. Again with the green target and locked trigger. Hichop was not sure if he liked the tech or was frustrated by it. A Klingon knew what he wanted to shoot at. One last try. Hichop aimed at the wall and sure enough the trigger released. There was no weapons lock as was to be expected but he could now fire freely. So he opened fire at the wall and dragged the gun past Tell and Leah. Sure enough when it got to Tell the target turned green and the firing stopped. restarted in the gap between Tell and Leah stopped at leah and then restarted past her. Hichop turned away from Tell and Leah thinking about what else the suit could do.

"What is going on!" Leah turned sharply feeling blind as a Taverin Clawbat and hearing a weapons discharge that came a bit behind, and as it lit up the corridor she saw Hichop's partly concealed suit in the vapor seemingly firing wildly along the wall.

"Tell, Hichop report in, my display is getting static" Leah took a few more steps back along the corridor seeing the vapor clear a bit only to reveal a gun turret aiming at her. "Gods..." another weapons discharge rang out until Leah scrambled back into the cloud that had once again concealed her position from the auto targeting turret.

"I'm here" reported Tell "Right by your side." Hells Bells what had they gotten themselves into now. Just when things are looking bad they suddenly seem to be getting much worse. Shots were firing all around her but not directly at her.

OOC: Just to put Leah and others at ease you will notice from HIchop's post that anyone wearing a suit is deemed 'friendly' by the auto sentries so they will not open fire on you while you are wearing the suit. They may shoot at phantom images in the mist and heat signatures, but there will be no injury to any of you.

,'. This is Ro' to all teams. Be aware of autosentry activity. We will fall back and re gather at the entrance. Copy back if you recieve me. ,'.

Tell heard Ro' and turned to walk back to the entrance. She really wasn't sure what was going on here things didn't feel right at all. She felt queasy almost as if she were suffering from motion sickness and decided that it must be the effect of the suit she was wearing.

"On my way" she reported back

Leah smacked the comlink a couple times and managed to get some of the message, following suit with Tell. It was an odd thing that the defense units would activate, given it would take more than just hitting a console button presumably. If it had activated why did it take this long? they where already well in the complex before it started up, and there wasn't even a rat alive to scury here.

"Leah reporting back" Leah responded not sure if the mess age even was sent.
