"So Mike should we go for a theme?" asked Tell deliberately keeping her voice low so as others wouldn't hear.

"Honestly.....I've always wanted to try and incorporate my heritage into a theme some how." Mike whispered back. "Not sure how we would do that though"

They didn't say anymore until they reached engineering where Tell knew they wouldn't be overheard. When they arrived Tell took Mike to her workroom and pulled up a chair for her friend while she sat on the workbench.

"What do you have in mind?" she asked "And will it be fun?"

"Well, the one I was thinking of bringing in is sort of like burning away the troubles of the year, making for a cleaner new year." Mike pondered. "But, from what I've heard of Klingons, they don't seem to like 'quiet' activities."

"Not on this ship but as we are a mix of different races I don't see why we can't have a crossover. It would make it more interesting and it might even be more fun. As long as we have a good supply of blood wine and fresh live food, the Klingons will be happy enough."

TAG:

"Can't stand Klingon food myself so I'll bring plain and boring stuff but with some good wine that I picked up on the base."

Hichop woke up from his stupor hearing something about good wine. "You want good wine Mike. I will bring the blood wine from the stores and we can give your piss to the Targ and you can go down there and drink with it". Hichop was clearly still intoxicated as he amused himself with his insults.

"We want some decent Earth stuff too." moaned Tell "and I managed to get some of that Firewater stuff from a passing trader. That's pretty damn good stuff and smooth too."

Tell looked in various boxes and put a good selection of Christmas decorations together. The tree left a lot to be desired but once it had been welded together with its lights and ornaments on it would look pretty damn good.

"What about this one Michelle for the top of the tree? Looks a passable Klingon fairy, if there is such a thing"

Tell turned it this way and that, adjusting the limbs where necessary. With the addition of some wings might look... like something you could put on a tree.

Now there was just the rest of the party to think about. Tells lips formed into a wicked grin when she thought of some party games.
