Leah quickly stepped her way through the narrow corridors till reaching the maze of shopping outlets that could be found all over the city. Her heels echoes across the white marble floors, seeing her reflection in both the store mirrors and gold trim of the lavish pillar’s aligning the walls.

At best she had only what would seem a few moments before Gerrat Jones would spot her. It was rather odd he normally wouldn’t leave the ship, due to his lack of trust in others… but he was almost reckless in this goal of his. Whoever this engineer was she had some value that even surpassed the shipment they just brought in. Simply put… this engineer could give Leah bargaining room if things went bad.

She lightly ran her fingers over a few lavish outfits of a silk consistency and some other material that, according to price, were rather exquisite. The Ubatti saleswoman was hovering over her rather irritably close, which was probably the reason why she didn’t suspect the arm wrapping uncomfortably tight around her waist, as a dress was draped across her front.

“Just perfect for you…Darling” Gerrat’s unmistakable breath hitting Leah’s nose.

“Oh I was.. just about to see you. This is for the party tonight then?" Leah glanced down to the dress, she could tell it was about the cheapest thing in the shop and as she glanced to the Ubatti saleswoman attending another customer suddenly it was confirmed.

Gerrat grined his smile that had turned teh head of more than one Port authority in their favour, "Expensive dresses are for cheap women, you know that. It is you that should add value to the dress not the other way around. How did you go?"

"The plan is working, their chief Science and Engineer will be arriving at a party, I just can't tell who else might arrive with them. Klingons could be a problem to handle so we will have to have our people in place early. I will isolate them from the rest of the party and hopefully we can get out with too much notice. If you could set up a diversion it would help."

Gerrat nodded, "I know a guy who can get us a strong anesthetic gas. It smells and is quite smokey, but at a party that should go unnoticed. I will also arrange free drinks of the antidote to all who arrive. The Klingons will not drink; never drink with your enemy."

He handed her a cred-card for exactly the ammount of the dress, "I will get the crew into the party as well and will hide out the front. When I make my move we will beam everyone straight to the Cygnet. I want a preset course already in that will get us as far away from here as possible in short order."

He produced a second card, "That is for drinks and what not at the party. Don't drink too much, but make friendly with our guests. I want the engineer alive and unharmed. You understand that, don't you, sweetheart?"

Leah nodded and headed straight to purchase the dress. This wasn't looking good for her at all, with Gerrat's intense focus on this engineer and Lea's part to draw her in, Leah wasn't given the space or time to consider any way to disappear. There was an option of trying to disappear in the party, maybe even warn Gerrat's potential targets and they could help...but why would they care. Leah smiled politely as she recieved her purchases but gave a slight sigh to herself as she headed back outside, so close and yet so very far.
