Timeline   Shortly after the party
The soup had been strangely satisfying after weeks on meat rich Klingon food. Marla wandered the stores, slowly drifting back to the FHew. There was little of real interest, certainly no book shops.

When she arrived at teh open hanger field she noted a make shift baricade had been set around the FHew and a group of Ubatti security were manning it. When they spotted her they moved to her and asked, "Are you a crewman on this ship?"

"And what if I am?"

The group instantly fanned into a semi-circle with weapons levelled, "Your ship has been impounded and its crew is to stand trial on suspiscion of Smuggling. You will immediately surrender yourself into our custody. Do not attempt to resist. Any resistance you present will be assumed to be an admission of guilt. Do you understand the charges against you?"

"No, I really don't. Smuggling? What do you mean smuggling? I do not remember us smuggling anything?"

The spokesperson from the group continued to speak, but all kept their weapons aimed at you, "You will place your weapons on the ground and accompany us to a holding cell until the time of your trial. Any attempt to resist will be seen as an admission of guilt and summary execution is authorised."

Marla growled. This was not right. She did not think that Ro' was the type of Klingon that would resort to smuggling. She started to pull out all her weapons, and lay them on the ground.

A couple of the men moved forward. One of them collected the weapons while the other lead Marla back into the main city complex.

She was lead through a maze of streets by her two guards till she arrived at a formidible looking building made of grey stone. She was led inside and down a set of stairs and a long underground hall to a cell. Inside were three Beqs and Ro'. Ro' appeared to be asleep.

Marla stood there staring at Ro'. Could he have really done this? She found a spot to sit down. She wanted to talk to Ro', but there was no way she was going to wake him up. She sat quietly waiting for something to happen.

About half an hour latter, Ro' woke with a sudden bellow. He sat upright and clutched at his belt where a small hip flask was hidden. He gulped the contents in a single swing and then sat with his eyes closed for a while finally he opened them and took in his surroundings. Looking to Marla as teh next ranking officer he asked quietly, "Report?"

Marla couldn't help but glare at him. She stood up as she gave her report. "I do not know much, sir, except that they have a accused us of smuggling. Have you been smuggling, sir." She said this last sentence with a sneer. She couldn't help it. With all this anger her Klingon half was coming out more and more.

Ro ignored the question. He reached for his communicator, which was missing, as were his weapons. Instead he sat down to wait for the authorities to make their move.
