Marla was in her room reading the Klingon translation of 'Romeo and Juliet' when she hears a voice over the comm.

,'. Tell to Marla, please report to the bridge ,'.

She slammed the book shut. One thing she really did not like is to be interrupted in the middle of a good part in a book.

She placed the book on her bed, walked out the door, and headed to the bridge.

She found Tell, and walked up to her.

Trying her best not to sound angry, "Is there something I can do for you, Ma'am."

' Its good to meet you, no need to call me Ma'am call me Tell.' she replied 'We have a job to do in the cargo bay...changing the electrical relays so no one falls over in the dark.' Tell rolled her eyes up at such a mundane job and indicated that they should go.

Marla headed off the bridge, and turned to Tell. "I feel like I am part of a joke, and I do not like being part of a joke."

They stopped to look at each other Marla was a good head hight taller than Tell.
'A joke' replied Tell puzzled 'What joke would that be then?'

"How may Engineers does it take to change a lightbulb?"

'I don't know?'

"It wasn't supposed to be a joke, but evidently the answer is two, a Chief Engineer and a Cloak specialist."

Tell saw the funny side and knew she was going to like this Cloak specialist a
lot.

'What about this one' said Tell as they walked along the gangway together.

'How many Klingon engineers does it take to change a light bulb?'

"I don't know?"

"None, Burned out light bulbs have NO honor, and a true Klingon Warrior is not afraid of the dark !"

Marla let out a small snicker at this. "That was funny, what about this one."

"How many Starfleet Engineers does it take to change a lightbulb."

'I dont know, How many Starfleet Engineers does it take to change a light bulb?' answered Tell back in the traditional way

"None. If you run a phased inverse tachyon burst through the main emitter array grid and multiplex it with a subspace standing wave locked back into a diagnostic mode filter, you'll bleed off most of the static warpfield instabilities through the higher verteron harmonics of the decchyon field and get at least another 60 Watts out of the old one. "

They both roared with laughter on the way to the cargo hold.

As they walked in Marla turned back to Tell, "So why is it that a Cloak Specialist is working on fixing lights. Do we need them to disappear?"

'Any one tell you Marla that you have a great sense of humour?' chuckled Tell

"My Father told me. That was one of his favorite traits of my mother, and he told me I act a lot like her."

'Well I think you have the best of her'

The door opened to reveal the cargo bay with only a blinking relay working it was going to take some time.

Marla looked up at the lights, "Well shall we get started?"

Tell walked over to the right side where she had stored all the equipment that was brought on from SB611 and opened one of the many crates there.

'Ok lets go' she replied

"So how did you become an Engineer?"

'Well...........'began Tell
