Ro' sat at the table in the conference room with a PADD in his hands. He waited till Tell arrived. Ro' didn't look up at first. She had begun to recognise when he was in a dark mood.

Tell went to the replicator for coffee. She liked her own rich blend but she was beginning to develop a taste for Raktajino. Though she wouldn't admit it to anyone on board as they knew her thoughts on Klingon food.

She walked quietly up to him and knew enough about Ro' as to when to approach him. Tell sat opposite him and drank her coffee in silence while she waited for him to speak. The rush of caffeine through her veins was exquisite as every nerve and fibre in her body responded to the stimulating drink.

"I have been contacted by Hay'legh." He spun the heavy Klingon PADD across the table to her. "These are coordinates in a nearby Nebula. She claims there is evidence that the Federation are conducting research into cloak technology. Apparently there is a secret station at this location. She can't get clearance to cross the border and investigate it herself. She has asked us to do so."

Tell finished her coffee and looked at the information. Not known for holding back and telling it straight she replied. "And you think we could get clearance? In this ship? Are you kidding? I hate to say it but this ship doesn't exactly fly on all cylinders. They would spot us before we even had a chance to blink."

"The difference is, we are allowed in Federation space, the Romulans aren't," Ro' rose to his feet. "It is a bad situation. We have agreed to support the Federation in the interests for better relations with the KDF. Now we are being asked to spy on them by the Romulans. Yet, it is not unheard of for the Federation to behave in such a dishonourable manner. If they have developed a cloak, the KDF should be informed. You are a Human, and see things differently. What do your morals tell you we should do?"

Tell leaned back in her chair, arms crossed and thought for a few moments. The more time she was on this ship the less human she felt. "I would want to find out" she told him in no uncertain terms. "I thought we were all supposed to be all goody goody lets be friends and meet for coffee and cake now. Why would they want to keep it a secret?"

"At the very least we should get Jared to check the Federation DB to see if he can find any data to support the idea of a base in this nebula. Have Marie set course for these coordinates. We are free to travel wherever we wish, so we can make a pass, if only to prove Hay'legh wrong. Have Thor'nan check all the weapons, and May'bel prep his Marines as well. If there is a station we will need Marie to get on board, and probably Marla to check out whatever it is they are working on. We may also nee HIchop to do some surgical alterations to make Marla look more Human and get her on that station. See if your Replicator can create some Starfleet uniforms."

Tell nodded while at the same time an idea was forming in her head. She got up to make herself some more coffee. "Raktageno" she ordered not caring if Ro' noticed or not. She turned back to him.

Ro' walked up to Tell and said quietly, "I do not like this at all. My stomach churns."

"I might just have an idea." She told him "Though you won't like it one bit." A small smirk appeared at the corners of her mouth. It just might work she told herself if it doesn't well she wondered if they might accept a human in Stovokor.

Ro' stopped, "I already don't like this. What have you got in mind?"

"Remember I used to work for an engineer called Malkie Krogg. I know where he gets his supplies from." Tell tapped a few co-ordinates on the PADD and passed them back to Ro'. "He's here. I can contact him to do some trade or we just borrow them . She looked at Ro' as he contemplated the idea. Malkie owed her one or two favours. "He might have a Starfleet freighter we could use and I know he has plenty of uniforms."

Ro' scratched his chin, "If we had uniforms, we could get some people on board to look around. The nebula is thick enough to disrupt our cloak, so we will not be able to approach undetected, but you might be able to pass ourselves off as a supply ship, while the FHew remains outside of scanner range. You and Marie are both Human so you should go. Marla and HIchop are the closest to human in appearance, so they could go as well. Anyone else would show as Klingon and might arouse suspicions."

"Get your team together, Soghla'. Tell Marie to set course for Krogg to pick up the supplies we need."
