Toby kicked viciously at a small crate that was in his way. Every time there was a glitch in any system it was always HIS job to fix it. He was the worst paid on board and had no right to any of the bonus packages, yet he seemed to do most of the work. He limped on, wishing he hadn’t kicked the crate now, to Air lock 5. For some reason the outside door had cycled open and closed. They were travelling at Warp 2, and there was nothing around them for light years. So he had to fix it on the fly.

He reached the inner door and began to climb into the EVA sealed suit. The heavy gloves made working so hard, but he’d be damned if he crawled into a malfunctioning airlock without a suit and tether. Once dressed, he hitched his line to the inside and opened the Comms.

“Okay, Danny. I am opening the inner door now.”

He pressed the button, and the heavy inner door swung out towards him. He was briefly surprised to see what looked like figures inside the airlock. Very briefly.

Rachel was in the infirmary. Her leg still smarted from where the WALDO crane had frozen and dropped the crate. By the discolouration it was broken. Well, that got her a cushy ride to and from the Station and full pay. No bonuses, but all the ice cream she could get the replicator to make.

The door opened behind her and a EVA suit staggered inside. She couldn’t immediately see who it was inside, but she remembered Toby was supposed to be doing some repair work. She put the spoon and bowl down and limped over.

“You okay, Toby? You don’t look so…”

The figure, who was most definitely not Toby, straightened suddenly, drawing a disruptor pistol. She didn’t have time to run, even if she had been able to.

Captain Daniel Tomsk and Xo Telok sat at the helm and Opps position respectively.

“What’s our ETA to the Nebula?’

“3 hours at this speed.”

The door behind them opened and someone stepped through. Daniel didn’t even bother to turn around. “That was quick, Toby. Did you find the fault?”

There was the whine of phaser fire and Telok slumped forward. Before Daniel could even grasp what was happening, a second beam hit him.”

Tell and Marla lowered their ‘liberated’ phasers and looked at the unconscious form of the two officers. A moment later they were joined by HIchop.

“Medical is secure,” Hichop reported.

“As is the cargo,” Marie added.

"Well that was easy." added Tell "Lets hope the rest of it is just as simple. Lets get them all in the brig, if they have one." The XO contacted the Fhew on a scrambled channel at the comm station. "Ship and cargo secure." she told them.

,'. Roger that. How do you plan to proceed? ,'.

Tell looked at the others who had dug out some spare uniforms and were starting to almost look the part. "Changing into uniforms as we speak and then we will work on their personnel changes." Tell was looking forward to seeing that. "Though I would prefer that the 'prisoners' be transferred to the FHew. Make our way to the station get in and get out as quick as we can with out causing to much havoc."

,'. Confirmed. I am sending the Beq over to collect the hostages now. DO you want any to remain on board for backup? ,'.

,'.Send me two over." Tell replied. The more the merrier she thought. ,'.Tell out ,'.

She turned to the others in the room who were looking more like a motley pirate crew of some description or other with half of their star fleet uniform on. "Lets get the prisoners over to the Fhew and then to their sickbay to make the final change of the day." A small smile appeared at the corners of her mouth. "Who knows, you might like the change after all."
