Ro' stepped off the transporter platform. Crewman Lach nodded to him and pushed the Comms button on the transporter control column.

"The Captain is aboard, we are clear to depart."

Ro' looked carefully at Lach, "Is everyone back on board?"

Lach gave and acknowledgement, "Everyone accounted for, sir. You were the last to return from shore leave."

"I'm sure I was," he answered cryptically.

"How was it? I find Humans can be diverting at times," Lach tried to make conversation. On a ship this small, it was not uncommon for the Captain to talk to the crew amiably. They were almost family. In fact many of the crew were from Ro's own family, House Matlh.

"I found it most informative," Ro' agreed, "but I will need my knife cleaned. There is blood all over it."

Ro' held out his D'k'tagh, handle first to Lach, who took it and made for the door. He stopped after two steps, noticing the blade was already clean and polished. Lach turned back to the Captain a frown of confusion on his face. before he could speak Ro' Punched the handle of the knife with full force, driving it through the armour plating and sternum of the other Klingon.

Lach staggered is surprise trying to cry out, but Ro' was on him in a second, lifting the smaller man over his shoulder and planting him on the floor. He rolled him over and pulled the knife from the man's chest, watching the rich purple blood flow from the heart.

"Tell me, Lach," Ro' growled. "How do you tell a real Klingon, from a Corporate Clone?"

Even as he bubbled and frothed Lach tried to pull his disruptor, but Ro' took it from his hands. As the life left Lach's body, Ro' nodded in satisfaction. He stood up and leveled Lach's disruptor at the Transporter controls. There was a flash of read and a shower of sparks. Ro' checked that both the transporters and Lach were dead beyond recovery, then threw the disruptor next to the body.

He took a moment to straighten his uniform and then walked casually towards the bridge.
