Timeline   As the FHew is touching down
Rancid was arguing prices with the Ubatti authority, It was little more than a formality at this stage. Captain Gerrat Jones stood at the boarding ramp pretending to watch but really letting his eyes wander over the other landing pads. His eyes were drawn by a new arrival, a Klingon B’rel. She set down on the opposite side of the station but not before Jones was able to make out the registry markings.

He turned and whistled into the ship. A moment later Leah, chief navigator appeared. She knew immediately by his face that Jones was plotting something. She just didn’t know what yet.

Leah brushed a few strands of hair from her face as she carefully stepped down the loading ramp. The high heel dress sandals took a bit to get used to again in addition to avoiding rather deep dents in the ship's loading ramp. Brushing down her skirt she glanced around the port for a minute avoiding the captains gaze. It wasn't too bad and Leah figured she did well enough with a classy wear, though just a little sheer across the midsection. As always the point was to draw the attention of a high roller by showing some class rather than just a room full of rowdy drunk spacers.

Glancing to Gerret with enough eyeshadow to make her holllowed eyes look more piercing she noticed where he was gazing. If he actually thought of taking a klingon ship he had gone mad, but it would save Leah the problem of having him killed. Leah started to walk briskly to try and get past him and avoid a scene but it didn't work as she felt his hand clasp under her bicep and drag her back.

"Listen to me carefully, darlin', and there may be a bonus in it for you. Find out all you can about the chief engineer. If you can, get her to meet you secretly at a later time and let me know where and when. Their chief Science officer isn't Klingon, he'd be a good place to start."

After half hearing his whispered words but not daring to look to him beyond the veil of her own sheer hair she squirmed and pulled her arm free, continuing to make her way toward what this place considered high entertainment.
