Ro' waited till Hay'legh indicated they had touched down before prying himself out of his seat.
"Lock us down, Eredh. HoS, take weapon systems off line and ensure the ship is secure from curious wanderers. No off-worlders are allowed on ship.”
"Yes Captain." The words sounded forced from the Rihan. As if Hay'Legh needed to be told something she was already halfway through the process of doing!
He turned to the rear of the bridge, “Marie, find us some buyers. I want an empty Hold again soon. I am not a freighter captain. Tell, with the additional crew the environmental systems are working overtime. Find us some air scrubbers, or something like it. Can’t have you humans suffocating.”
"Aye Captain" replied Tell. She had a long list of things to get besides the dam scrubbers and flaming relays.. Ema Moyo had taken quite a beating over the Arcadia scuffle and the tractor beam tow, but it was nothing she couldn't handle. She packed up a rucksack and got herself ready.
“The rest of you are all on ship leave unless HoS or Hay’legh gives you guard duty. I am going to find somewhere in this place that serves drink strong enough to get rid of the taste of this Romulan dust. With any luck I might even get in a fight. And Jared, if I find you have spent the shore leave on the ship tinkering, I will personally break every instrument you own over your head, got it?”
Jared sighed.
"Fine... I'll go pub-ballading again. It's been a while."
