Even as they dropped her to the floor, Hay’Legh gave no outward sign that she was conscious. She knew how to relax all her muscles and act like a dead weight - and the bruises will heal. She was face down, her arms tied behind her back and her tied legs bent at an uncomfortable angle.

As soon as she was on the floor, the arguments began.

Hay’Legh watched from under hooded eyes as the Nausican threw his arms wide and bellowed as he stopped the dozen other men in the room from rushing her.

“Garrett put me in charge. I will decide the order of service.” He then jabbed a finger at a lanky human at the back. “You go first. And the rest of you will get your turn. Just make sure she has enough life in her to cover us all at least once.” He then stepped away as the lanky man pushed eagerly through the crowd of men.

“Estrach, why does Martin go first?” One voice piped up from the crowd.

The Nausican stopped and slowly turned to the speaker. He was obviously a man not used to being questioned. “Martin doesn’t like them moving, or too cut up. This is his reward for managing the gas at their capture.”

Hay’Legh’s attention suddenly turned to the man approaching her. He was tall, lanky and slight and the Rihan made herself fully relax as this ’Martin’ placed a hand on her shoulder and rolled her onto her back and straightened out her legs and cutting the restraint that kept them secured. Hay’Legh tied hands were now trapped between her back and the decking – doesn’t matter, she didn’t need them.

She tried not to flinch when the man’s hands suddenly gripped the hem on her shirt and with a yank tore it open. She suddenly felt the presence of the men looming around her, watching. The man’s callused hands roughly pawed at her naked skin and when she felt his mouth on her stomach she had to stop the instinctive urge to buck away from him.

Hands tugged at her trousers and pulled them off and then Hay’Legh felt someone kneel between her legs. She risked opening her eyes slightly and saw the sick bastard opening the fly on his trousers with the men around her egging him on. If she was going to act, it had better be now. This Martin should have known better than to leave her legs free.

Before any of the onlookers could react, Hay’Legh lifted her legs, caught the man’s head between her calves and in a grip/slide motion snapped his neck. As the body slumped lifeless to the ground, Hay'Legh flung herself into a backwards roll away.

Then pandemonium erupted.
